Our story

A family venture, a lifetime in the making

Triple A’s is what happens when a passion for Filipino home cooking finally gets its own front door.

From home parties to our own premises

Connie grew up learning from her dad’s marvellous talent for mixing different tastes together — family recipes from Manila and the Ilocos Sur region that make a blend unlike any other in the Philippines.

Around Southampton, Connie’s cooking earned a wonderful reputation the honest way: home parties, catering for friends, and word of mouth. We dreamed of our own premises for years, and when the opportunity finally arose, we took it.

We’re proud to share what we cook at home with everyone in Southampton — locals, the Filipino community, and visitors stepping off the ships alike.

Questions we get a lot

Good to know

Where exactly are you?

On the top floor of the Asian Supermarket at 5 Castle Way, Southampton SO14 2BX — just behind Burger King at Bargate, right in the city centre.

What’s on the menu today?

Our buffet changes every day — up to 7 dishes, posted on our Facebook page each morning. The dishes on our menu page give you a taste of what rotates through.

Do you deliver?

Not at the moment — but you can order trays of food for parties and events to collect from the cafe. Give us a call to arrange it.

Can you host my birthday or celebration?

Yes! We host in-house events — birthdays, celebrations and get-togethers — with seating for 24 at tables plus 10 at the bar. Events must be pre-booked with a deposit, so get in touch for times and availability.

Can we bring our own drinks?

We’re unlicensed, so we can’t sell alcohol — but you’re welcome to bring your own and we’ll provide glasses on the tables, in line with Southampton City Council licensing rules.

I’m arriving on a cruise — how do I find you?

We’re a short walk from the docks. From Dock Gate 4 (Ocean & QE2 terminals) or Dock Gate 10 (City, Horizon & Mayflower terminals), head for Bargate in the city centre — we’re on Castle Way, behind Burger King.

Come and say kumusta

We look forward to welcoming you into our new venture.
